AI WORK. STRUCT. NEXT. is a local-first macOS app that keeps structured AI-agent work experience ready for later tasks.

System requirements

  • macOS 13 or later.
  • AI WORK. STRUCT. NEXT. runs as a sandboxed Mac app.

Getting started

  1. Choose the local Recording Folder where this body of experience should live.
  2. Use Copy AI Agent Instructions or Copy Agent Guide JSON in AI WORK. STRUCT. NEXT. to give an external AI agent the exact local File Inbox instructions.
  3. The external AI agent publishes allow-listed structured events to .easy-terminal/inbox/ inside the selected scope.
  4. AI WORK. STRUCT. NEXT. checks the File Inbox automatically, or you can choose Manual Import. Review Current State and Recent Activity after import.

Recording Folder and relaunch

AI WORK. STRUCT. NEXT. saves app-scoped access to the active Recording Folder and safely attempts to restore it after a complete quit and relaunch. If a removable volume is unavailable, reconnect it and choose Retry. AI WORK. STRUCT. NEXT. does not mount the volume automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Does AI WORK. STRUCT. NEXT. record my terminal?

No. It handles allow-listed structured events published through the File Inbox. It does not monitor the terminal or store raw terminal logs, stdout, stderr, shell history, or full command output.

Does AI WORK. STRUCT. NEXT. contain AI?

No. Import and presentation are deterministic and rule-based. AI agents such as Codex are separate tools that can publish structured events locally.

Does AI WORK. STRUCT. NEXT. use an account, cloud service, or network?

No. AI WORK. STRUCT. NEXT. has no account or cloud sync, and the app itself has no network communication.

Which file is the source of truth?

The local ledger is the source of truth. agent-memory.md is a generated projection and can be rebuilt from structured state.

Does choosing a Recording Folder give AI WORK. STRUCT. NEXT. access to everything on my Mac?

No. App Sandbox limits access to the user-selected folder. AI WORK. STRUCT. NEXT. considers structured events only in the resolved local File Inbox and does not broadly import other folder contents.
