Mono-eye

Mono-eye helps you keep a sense of your AI agent's activity without staring at the screen.
Choose one AI coding agent, terminal, or browser-based agent window. Mono-eye reacts locally to the user-selected window and gives subtle sound feedback while the agent is working.

AI agent activity cues
Active
The selected window is changing, so Activity sounds can give a light working cue.
Thinking
Activity is settling while Mono-eye waits for the quiet period.
Ready
The window has become quiet, so Mono-eye can play a Ready sound as a check-back cue.
Lost
The selected window is no longer available.
Local and privacy-first
Mono-eye uses local-only visual activity analysis for the user-selected window, then calculates low-resolution frame-difference activity scores on your Mac.
- Does not record, save, OCR, or transmit screen contents.
- Does not monitor keyboard input.
- No network communication, analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting SDK.
- Does not use the microphone, camera, or system audio capture.
Floating Mono-eye
Mono-eye can show a floating ambient indicator with adjustable size and position, so the activity cue can stay where it is useful.
Sound feedback
Activity sounds include Robotic, Soft Beeps, and Organic Ticks. Activity Intonation adds gentle pitch movement, and separate Activity Volume and Ready Volume controls keep the working cue and check-back cue balanced.
