Mono-eye Privacy Policy

Screen Contents

Mono-eye uses Apple's ScreenCaptureKit after the user selects a window. The app analyzes low-resolution frame differences on the user's Mac to update its visual activity indicator.

Mono-eye does not record video, save screenshots, store captured frames, perform OCR, read screen text, transmit screen contents, or upload screen data.

Keyboard, Accessibility, and Input Monitoring

Mono-eye does not monitor keyboard input. Mono-eye does not request Accessibility permission and does not request Input Monitoring permission.

Network, Analytics, and Tracking

Mono-eye does not make network requests. Mono-eye does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, crash reporting SDKs, WebView, or third-party SDKs.

Audio, Microphone, and Camera

Mono-eye does not use the microphone or camera. Mono-eye does not capture system audio. Any sounds produced by Mono-eye are generated locally by the app itself as feedback sounds.

Local Settings

Mono-eye stores local preferences on the user's Mac using UserDefaults, such as sound settings, onboarding state, floating indicator size, and floating indicator position. These settings are not transmitted by Mono-eye.

Debug Information

Mono-eye includes a Debug Summary for troubleshooting capture and state behavior. Debug Summary and diagnostic logs redact selected window titles and do not include screen contents, OCR text, screenshots, or recordings.
