Allow Screen Recording
Mono-eye needs this macOS permission to receive visual samples from the window you select. It does not create a recording.
Restart if macOS asks
After permission is granted, macOS may require Mono-eye to quit and reopen before capture is available.
Choose Track Window
Open Mono-eye, choose Track Window, then select the one visible window whose activity you want to feel.
Check the selected window
Keep that window available on screen. Detection quality can vary with the window and its visible behavior.
What the states mean
Active
Visual change is present in the selected window.
Thinking
The selected window is becoming quieter. This does not mean Mono-eye understands AI thought or screen content.
Ready
It may be a good time to check back. Ready is not a judgment of success, completion, correctness, approval, or result.
Lost
The selected window is no longer available to Mono-eye—for example, it may have closed or capture may have been interrupted. Choose Track Window again when the window is available.

- A brief description of what happened
- The selected window state: Active, Thinking, Ready, or Lost
- Whether Screen Recording permission had just been changed or Mono-eye restarted

Do not include passwords, credentials, customer information, private file names, screen contents, screenshots, recordings, API keys, or payment details.
